ERC Calls Calendar

• ERC Starting grant: deadline usually in autumn.
• ERC Consolidator grant: deadline usually in the winter.
• ERC Advanced grant: deadline usually late summer.
• ERC Synergy grant: deadline usually in late autumn.
• Proof of concept: deadlines, typically two or three throughout the year.

Importantly, the call identifiers (e.g. ERC-2025-StG) refer to the year in which the budget is allocated, not necessarily the year of the ERC grant deadline. In addition, ERC deadlines may change considerably around the adoption and announcement of novel framework programmes and work programmes.
