It is still possible to use the 4EU+ mobility funding for a study visit or internship at any 4EU+ university. Both Ph.D. students and academics can apply. The mobility can last a maximum of one month and has to be concluded by the end of September 2022.

The 27th public competition was announced for Josef Vavrousek Award. Students, doctoral students and young university graduates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including international degree students, can submit their Bachelor and Master theses and PhD dissertations for the competition. The submission deadline for this year is Friday 29 July 2022, 12:00p.m.

HGGS is organizing a one day conference for doctoral candidates and final-semester Master students on the topic "The Spectre Haunting Academia: Understanding the Role of Academia in the Rise of the Far-Right". The one-day conference will take place at Heidelberg University at the end of June. Deadline for abstracts is 15 May 2022.

The project Global Excellence in Modeling Climate and Energy Policies (GEOCEP) provides an innovative economic modelling framework supporting the energy transition to a zero-carbon economy. It brings together leading global and regional think tanks and universities. GEOCEP offers up to EUR 2,100 per person per month to support outgoing mobilities for FSV UK PhD students and academics whose research focuses on climate and energy.
