  • One World festival is coming back to cinemas

    The 26th edition of the International Human Rights Film Festival One World will take place in 48 cities throughout Czechia from March 20 to April 21, 2024. In Prague, viewers can look forward to screenings from March 20 to 28. In addition to the film program, the festival will also offer a series of debates with guests from around the world.

  • FSV UK Career Day for international students and alumni

    Are you our international student or recent graduate? Join us for FSV UK Career Day on 10 April 2024 in Jinonice Campus! You can look forward to a CV workshop, a Czech labour law lecture, 2 companies recruiting, career counseling or a photographer who can take a professional photo for your CV. Some parts of the program require registration.

  • Extended opening hours of night study rooms in Jinonice campus

    As of Monday, March 11, the opening hours of the night study rooms in the Jinonice Campus will be extended. They are now in operation from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 pm to midnight and on Friday from 5:00 pm to midnight. Entry is allowed only to FSV UK students with a valid ID.

  • Online courses by the University of Heidelberg

    We would like to draw your attention to the newly published offer of 4EU+ online courses for this summer semester by the University of Heidelberg. The offer includes courses in English and German in the fields of law, religious studies, translation, geography, political ecology and others. Applications are open until March 30, 2024.

  • Simulated press conference with Eva Lustigová

    The Language Centre invites you to a simulated press conference on the occassion of the launch of "Arnoštova cesta" (Arnošt's Journey) picture book. The guest will be Arnošt Lustig’s daughter Eva Lustigová. The event will take place in the room 215 at Hollar on 25 March 2024 from 5 pm. It will be held in English, French, and Czech, and moderated & interpreted by the Language Centre students.
