Academic staff and doctoral students at Charles University may apply for one-month scholarship stays at German partner universities in 2027. Required documents must be submitted to the International Office by October 31, 2026.

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, welcomed 500 international exchange students from all over the world! Over the past two weeks, a range of welcome activities supported students in taking their first steps at the faculty and in Prague. We thank everyone involved—especially the FSV UK International Office—and wish all exchange students a successful start to the semester!

As of October 1, 2026, two calls for applications are open for FSV UK students: Inter-university and inter-faculty study stays for the winter semester / full academic year 2027/2028 with the deadline October 31, 2026, and CU Mobility Fund – call for applications for funding towards a study stay or internship abroad, with the deadline October 21, 2026.

PhD students can now apply for the 16th edition of the LERU Doctoral Summer School, hosted by Lund University from 13 – 18 June 2027. Deadline for applications: 11 January 2027. The Rector’s Board will then select one participant to represent Charles University at the summer school.

Additional offer of a scholarship for students at partner university in Germany for the summer semester 2026/2027 is now open. Students are kindly asked to upload all required documents to the online application system by 7 October 2026.
