The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Professor Michal Mejstřík awarded the First Grade Medal of Merit in memoriam

    On the occasion of the national holiday on October 28, 2021, the names of personalities who are to be awarded or bestowed state decorations were published. Among the awarded in memoriam is also a prominent Czech economist, founder and long-time director of the Institute of Economic Studies, Professor Michal Mejstřík. The award ceremony will take place on January 1, 2022.

  • Prof. Milena Králíčková was elected candidate for the Rector of Charles University

    At its meeting today, the Academic Senate of Charles University elected Professor Milena Králíčková candidate for the rector of Charles University in the first round of elections. The proposal for the appointment of the rector will be submitted to the President of the Republic through the Minister of Education. On February 1, 2022, the new rector of Charles University will take office. The term of office is four years.

  • Call for application for the Coimbra Group Arenberg Prize is now open

    Call for application for the Coimbra Group Arenberg Prize, which includes a reward of € 5,000, is now open. It can be applied for by Master's degree graduates who have completed an Erasmus stay at another institution that is part of the Coimbra Group

  • International conference on integration in Tallinn, Estonia

    International conference on integration "30 years of integration: success stories, challenges, and unused opportunities" will take place on 11 and 12 November 2021 in Tallinn, Estonia. Participation at the conference is free of charge and the presentations can be watched online as well.
