The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Invitation to the Teaching and Learning Community at FSV UK

    We invite you to the next session of the Teaching and Learning Community at FSV UK. We will look into (re-)designing courses so that they are more international, inclusive, and activity-based. The session will take place in the Jinonice Campus in room C612 on Tuesday, February 20 from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. 

  • 4EU+ Pluralities of Memory Spring School: Borderlands of Memory

    Call for Applications is now open for the 4EU+ Pluralities of Memory Spring School: Borderlands of Memory for junior researchers (PhDs) and MA candidates affiliated with any of the 4EU+ universities. The deadline for the submission of proposals is 29 February, 2024.

  • Call for applications for a research stay at the University of Sussex

    The call for application for the eight-week research programme International Junior Research Associate Scheme at the University of Sussex is open. The programme takes place from 1 July to 23 August 2024 and is aimed at BA students (after the first year) of Charles University. The application deadline is 29 February 2024 at noon.

  • Brunch with the Dean

    We cordially invite you to an informal brunch of the academic and research staff, lecturers and the secretariat of institutes with the FSV UK Dean Tomáš Karásek on 7 March 2024 in room C131 of the Jinonice Campus. This time you will have the opportunity to find out details about new grant calls and talk about research opportunities at FSV UK with our colleagues from the Research Office.

  • Meeting with the Rector

    On 18 March 2024 from 9 to 10 am, the Breakfast with the Charles University rector will take place in the room C612 of Jinonice Campus. The meeting is intended for FSV UK students and employees. 

  • International Day of Women and Girls in Science: How did FSV UK female researchers succeed in the academic world?

    On February 11, we traditionally celebrate the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. On this occasion, we mention a number of successes achieved last year by female academics from the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University.
