The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research (TKFD) SYLFF scholarship program call for 2024 has been announced. The offer is intended for students of doctoral programs in the social sciences or humanities and provides financial support for a period of up to two years for the preparation of a dissertation and other research activities. The deadline is April 24, 2024.

Enrico Letta, the former Prime Minister of Italy and the current president of the think tank Jacques Delors Institute, visited Prague last week. The official visit also included an academic debate on the future of the EU internal market at FSV UK. FSV UK Dean Tomáš Karásek, Martin Mejstřík from IMS FSV UK and Petr Janský from IES FSV UK took part in the discussion.

The International Office announces the spring round of applications for a grant from the Charles University Mobility Fund. The Mobility Fund serves as a support tool for expanding the university's international relations. The application will be open from 1 February to 11 March 2024.

It is with deep sadness that we announce that on January 22, 2024, at the age of 80, Prof. Ing. Miloslav Vošvrda, CSc. passed away. He was a long-time scientist and teacher at the Institute of Economic Studies of the FSV UK, member of the FSV UK scientific council and head of the econometrics department at the ÚTIA Academy of Sciences. Our sincere condolences to the bereaved.
