FSV UK Researchers won the prize for the best article of the year in the prestigious journal Experimental Economics
Tomáš Havránek and Zuzana Havránková, researchers from the Institute of Economic Studies won the Editor's Award for the best article published in the journal Experimental Economics in 2022 from the Economic Science Association. They worked with IES graduate Jindřich Matoušek on an article entitled Individual discount rates: a meta-analysis of experimental evidence.

Markéta Kocmanová and Matěj Bajgar succeeded in the Primus competition
The results of the 9th round of the Primus competition have been announced. Two projects implemented at FSV UK succeeded in it: the project by Markéta Kocmanová from IPS and the project by Matěj Bajgar from IES. Congratulations!

FSV UK project succeeded in TACR competition
The Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TACR) has published the results of the fifth public competition of the Program for the Support of Applied Research and Innovation SIGMA. Within the research topic Impact of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning on Society, a project A Beneficial Multi-Agent AI Avatar in a Small Democratic Society in which our faculty is the main applicant was successful.

Two publications from FSV UK succeeded in the Charles University competition of high-quality monographs
Charles University has published the results of this year's round of the high-quality monograph competition. Publications by Tomáš Nigrin from IMS and Martin Potůček from ISS succeeded in the competition. Congratulations to the winners!

FSV UK library summer opening hours
In July 2024, all library branches will be closed. On the days when the Jinonice library is closed, the night study room will be open from 9:00 a.m. to midnight. The Jinonice library will reopen on 6 August. The library in Opletalova will remain closed during the summer months. Hollar Library is closed for renovations. All books borrowed after 1 June are automatically extended until 2 September.
