This year's Ibero-American Prize has been announced. The competition is open to students of all levels of university study whose mother tongue is not Spanish or Portuguese. Students can participate by submitting a professional work that directly relates to Latin America, the Caribbean or the Iberian Peninsula, in Spanish or Portuguese. The deadline is 14 March 2025.

A new issue of the journal Acta Politologica has just been published! The special issue of AcPo is monothematically focused on the issue of DIGITALIZATION IN DOMESTIC POLITICS. In the just-published special issue you will find five original expert articles as well as an introductory editorial.

On the occasion of the Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day, Prime Minister Petr Fiala awarded the Karel Kramář medal to Irena Kalhousová, an expert at the Institute of Political Studies FSV UK and director of the Herzl Center for Israel Studies. She received the award for her outstanding contribution to the public debate on Middle East issues. This year, this award went to a total of 17 personalities.
