In June, FSV UK hosted another edition of our International Staff Week focused on the theme Wellbeing of Students and Staff. We were delighted to welcome 29 participants from 15 countries. Throughout the week, we offered a wide range of presentations on the services and support available at Charles University and our faculty. Together, we explored topics related to student and staff wellbeing, internationalisation, communication, support services, and many other areas that connect our institutions.

The 4EU+ Alliance is launching two calls for grant applications: SEED4EU+ to support joint research projects and 4EU+ Visiting Professorships for short-term academic stays. The application deadline is 13 October 2026. An online information session will take place on 30 June 2026.

EU TalentOn is a five-day European scientific competition bringing together early-career researchers (aged 21–35) from across Europe. EU TalentOn will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 in Brest, France. Participants will take part in an intensive programme of coaching, workshops and networking activities. Travel, accommodation and meals are fully covered, and a total of €80,000 in prizes will be awarded. Applications close on 30 April 2026.
