The call for applications for CENTRAL Workshops 2026/2027 is open. CENTRAL-Workshop projects will fund one or two, 2-3 day meetings at one of the involved CENTRAL partner universities (or two, if two meetings will be held) in the period between 1 September 2026 – 31 August 2027. The deadline for applications is 31 March 2026.

Today, the Dean of FSV UK, Tomáš Karásek, personally welcomed Professor Kennan Ferguson from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the United States. Prof. Ferguson will be working at FSV UK, specifically at the Institute of Political Studies, for the next five months as part of the Fulbright Distinguished Scholar program.

Take advantage of the offer of online courses from partner universities of the 4EU+ alliance and join the 4EU+ virtual mobility. The offer includes a wide range of subjects taught in English.

4EU+ offers PhD students and advanced Master's students the opportunity to participate in the Collegio Futuro project, which focuses on climate change, biodiversity loss and environmental pollution. As part of the project, students will participate in several online workshops in January 2026 and then a winter school in Heidelberg in February 2026. Applications are open until November 17, 2025.

The 4EU+ Shared Courses offer at Heidelberg University for the upcoming winter semester 2025/26 is now available on the 4EU+ Student Portal. The registration deadline for all courses is 30 September 2025.

Another Joint Seed call was announced with the University of St Andrews, a strategic partner of Charles University. The call for proposals for joint initiatives between UK and UoStA aims to facilitate cooperation within our strategic goals. Deadline for submission of proposals is May 12, 2025.
