In response to the December tragic events at the Faculty of Arts, the FSV UK management pays increased attention to ensuring security in the faculty buildings. Along with the activation of existing security features, we are taking further conceptual steps.

Presentation for students about the Erasmus+ selection procedure will take place on 1 February at 2 p.m. in the hall C117 in Jinonice Campus. At the presentation, you will learn important information about the Erasmus+ selection procedure for study stays for the academic year 2024/25. In addition, at the presentation you will meet students who have already completed an Erasmus+ study stay.

If you are fulfilling your study obligations at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, follow the information on the examination period directly on the FA UK website. The examination period at FSV UK takes place according to the Academic Calendar. Use student and employee cards to enter the Hollar building and the Jinonice Campus.

Charles University supports teams collaborating within the 4EU+ Alliance through so-called mini-grants. For the year 2024, teams comprising academics from Charles University and at least two other 4EU+ universities can apply for financial support in this seed-funding project scheme.

Due to the tragic events at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, on Friday 22 December 2023, all classes at FSV UK will be canceled and the operation of the faculty will be restricted. We therefore recommend to all FSV UK students and employees that they do not visit the faculty buildings on 22 December.
