Charles University has – as the first university in the Czech Republic – successfully defended the prestigious HR Excellence in Research Award (HR Award), granted by the European Commission.

On the occasion of the ceremonial meeting of the FSV UK Scientific Council, the annual presentation of commemorative medals for services to the development of the faculty and for long-term work for the faculty took place. FSV UK Dean Tomáš Karásek also presented awards to the authors of the works selected for Josef Vavroušek Award 2024.

The UK European Centre – Department for Science and Research is introducing the 4EU+ Grant Support Service (GSS). The aim of the service is to assist academics in selecting relevant seed funding calls within the Alliance, particularly in finding other funding opportunities.
