New exhibition Moulding Nature curated by Nico Carpentier
As one of the outcomes of our Mistra research project, Nico Carpentier (Department of Media Studies) is curating (together with Daniel Urey and Emilia Rosenqvist) the exhibition Moulding Nature – Discursive Struggles Over the Environment at Fargfabriken arts center in Stockholm. The exhibition runs from 26 August to 26 November.

Visit the exhibition Towards: searching for queer safe space from 7 to 31 August at Hollar
FSV UK students are collectively researching a queer safe space, what it looks like, where it begins and where it ends, or what prevents its creation. The exhibition takes place in cooperation with Prague Pride, but you can visit it even after the end of the festival until the end of August, every weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

International competition for young scientists and innovators: Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic 2023
On September 12, 2023, the 8th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The aim of the competition is to bring together the future generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breathtaking idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that break down all walls and barriers.

Guest lecture: Europe, Interdependence & Vulnerability
On May 29th, the Peace Research Centre Prague and the Institute of Political Studies will welcome a leading U.S. scholar Professor Abraham Newman from Georgetown University to discuss the changes and challenges of the increasing use of economics as a tool in geopolitical contests among major powers. The event will take place at Jinonice Campus (U Kříže 611/8) in room B103B.
