CEEPUS
CEEPUS
CEEPUS (Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies) is a similar programme to ERASMUS+, but connecting Central and Eastern Europe countries and Balkans. Study and research mobilities take place either within thematic networks with specific partners or it is also possible to apply for individual mobility (the freemover format) to any university participating in the CEEPUS programme.
CEEPUS Member Countries:
Students apply for mobility at their National CEEPUS Office, ie in the country where they study (FSV UK students apply at the Czech CEEPUS office even if they are not Czech citizens).
Who can apply:
- Bachelor or Master students for 3-10 months
- PhD students for 1-2 months for the purpose of preparing their thesis (PhD students can apply repeatedly)
- Academic staff
The student must be a citizen of a CEEPUS member country or have an Equal Status (a residence permit in a CEEPUS member country).
Applicants from non-member countries submit with their application:
- temporary or permanent residence permit in the country where they study;
- confirmation from a university, in English, that they are duly enrolled for the entire duration of the study cycle.
The submission of the application and other documents during and after the mobility is handled entirely via the platform www.ceepus.info. A very useful source of information mapping the application process and other obligations can be found at FAQ on the official platform.
Scholarship assignment:
- The scholarship is funded by the hosting university.
- The amount of the grant is different for each member country. Find the scholarship rates for each country HERE.
