The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Recording of the Online Open Days is available

    Have you missed the Online Open Days live stream in which we talked about the Master's Degree programmes? We prepared a Youtube playlist where you can watch the stream at your leisure.

  • Interested in Artificial Intelligence? Apply for the prg.ai Minor programme

    The inter-university programme prg.ai Minor offers students the best AI-oriented courses. The four faculties that participate in the programme are the Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (Charles University), Faculty of Information Technology and Faculty of Electrical Engineering (CTU). Application deadline is 22 March.

  • Current information on the testing of employees

    Based on the emergency measure of the Government of the Czech Republic, since 17 March 2021, employees will not be allowed in their workplaces unless they produce a confirmation that they tested negative for SARS-CoV-2. The negative test result is valid for seven days for this purpose.

  • Current regulations at FSV UK

    Take a look at the current Covid-19 regulations. There are no significant changes in teaching. The libraries stay available through contactless windows for borrowing pre-ordered books and returning loans.

  • New e-resources

    Try new e-sources available at Charles University. The trial of SAGE Research Methods is available until 31 May and the Artstor Digital Library is available until 31 June.

  • Elections to AS FSV UK taking place in November

    AS FSV UK announces electronic elections to the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University for the term of office 2021–2023 from November 24 to November 25, 2020. Submission of proposals for candidates is opened until November 6, 2020.
