Charles University invites you to the debate with the President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola, the heads of the individual political factions of the European Parliament and CU students on the topic of the Future of Europe. Our students, Jakub Bobysud, Matej Leško, Peter Palovič and Ondřej Rosický represented the IES FSV UK, the Faculty and Charles University at the 12th edition of the prestigious international investment competition, CFA Research Challenge. They won the challenging sub-regional round, and became also the winners of the EMEA region semi-finals. In the history of the competition, only one team from the Czech Republic has managed to do so. Finally, they also took part in the EMEA finals, where according to the jury they placed 3rd - 6th overall.

Asami Teramija, a young reporter accounting for Kyiv Independent and Kyiv Post, will be a guest for the debate addressing situation from Kyiv, Charkiv and Donbas area.The debate will take place in Hollar building in the room No. 215 and it will start at 5 p.m., discussion will be in English.

The 27th public competition was announced for Josef Vavrousek Award. Students, doctoral students and young university graduates in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, including international degree students, can submit their Bachelor and Master theses and PhD dissertations for the competition. The submission deadline for this year is Friday 29 July 2022, 12:00p.m.

On Tuesday, 17 May 2022, during the Academic Senate FSV UK meeting, the Golden Courses for the best courses of the Winter Semester 2021/2022 according to the student evaluation were awarded to the lecturers. The award is accompanied by financial reward. Congratulations to all recipients!
