  • Apply for money for your student projects

    Do you have a student project in mind? You can apply for student money to support it. The meeting of the student chamber of the Academic Senate FSV UK concerning student money will take place on 28 October 2021 on ZOOM. Application deadline is Tuesday 26 October 11:59 p.m.

  • Grant Agency has announced the competition for 2022

    The Charles University Grant Agency has announced a competition for the submission of projects with the beginning of the solution in 2022. Projects for 1-3 years can be submitted by Master's and doctoral students during the standard study period. Faculty deadline for proposal submission: 25 October 2021.

  • New e-book collections for Charles University students

    From 1 October 2021, all Charles University students have access to two eBook collections: the Cambridge Core and Taylor & Francis Group eBooks.

  • Over 400 international students attended the Welcome Party on Střelecký Island

    Four hundred students from Europe and around the world. Roughly so many came to the Welcome Party on Střelecký Island, organized for both the exchange and degree students by the International Office of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. After a long time, the university students met offline again.

  • Apply for McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character

    West Point Military Academy (West Point, NY) hosts McDonald Conference for Leaders of Character between 24 and 27 March 2022. 
    The offer is primarily designated for students of the 3rd year of Bachelor's or the 1st year of Master's programme. The deadline for applications is 17 October 2021.

  • Problems with ZOOM connections

    In the last few days, users in FSV UK network have not been able to connect to ZOOM calls. The IT support of Charles University confirmed that the problem is in the network configuration outside FSV UK: it seems to be in the routing of Zoom abroad. The outages are being dealt with by CESNET, the operator of the service.
