Czech Day Against Cancer at FSV UK

The FSV UK libraries participate in the Czech Day Against Cancer this year. You can buy a symbolic marigold flower at Hollar, Jinonice and Opletalova library on 12 and 13 May.

The minimum contribution is CZK 20. You can support the activities of the League Against Cancer also by a donor SMS in the form of DMS KVET 30 or DMS KVET 60 or DMS KVET 90 sent to 87 777.

Proceeds from the collection are used to reduce cancer mortality in the Czech Republic. Funding will be distributed according to the long-term pillar programs of the Cancer League:

• cancer prevention
• improving the quality of life of cancer patients
• oncological research support, quality teaching and investment modernization or completion of oncological departments
