Erasmus+ Practical Placements

How to find an ERASMUS+ placement?

Practical and graduate traineeships provide students with another opportunity to travel abroad within Erasmus+ programmes.

Placements can be performed in the member as well as non-member EU countries as follows: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

Placements may last from 2 months up to 12 months. The minimum number of worked out hours must be 20 hours per week.

The applicants can use the list in “Bilateral Agreements” or secure a practical placement in an organization of their own.

You can work at public or private organizations, research institutions or foundations, schools, school facilities, education centres, non-profit organizations, associations, NGOs etc.

Czech centres abroad regularly announce admissions (current offers).

However, placements are not allowed to be performed in the EU institutions and organizations administering the EU programmes.

In sufficient time prior to submitting an application, the applicants will assure a Letter of acceptance by the institution or organization.
