How to find an ERASMUS+ placement?
Practical and graduate traineeships provide students with another opportunity to travel abroad within Erasmus+ programmes.
Placements can be performed in the member as well as non-member EU countries as follows: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Macedonia, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Placements may last from 2 months up to 12 months. The minimum number of worked out hours must be 20 hours per week.
The applicants can use the list in “Bilateral Agreements” or secure a practical placement in an organization of their own.
You can work at public or private organizations, research institutions or foundations, schools, school facilities, education centres, non-profit organizations, associations, NGOs etc. Other opportunities can be found at Czech centres abroad (offers here)
However, placements are not allowed to be performed in the EU institutions, more info here, organizations administering the EU programmes or national diplomatic missions (the embassies, consulates) of the student’s home country abroad.
Before the admission process, the applicants are expected to provide at least preliminary proof of communication and acceptance by the institution or organization.

When proceeding to a higher study cycle, please assure a premature enrolment at your Student Services Office.
It is necessary to open your EUR account with a bank branch in the Czech Republic.
