The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Online workshop "Organizing for the Future: Accountability in the Public and Private Sector"

    Join us for an online workshop on “Organizing for the Future: Accountability in the Public and Private Sector”, which will feature two speakers: Prof. Jan Bebbington and Prof. Nicole Darnall. The aim of the workshop is to bring together researchers working on sustainability-related issues in different organizational sectors. The workshop takes place on 25 March 2024 from 4 to 6 pm CET via MS Teams.

  • Student ombudspeople elections will take place on 4 and 5 March 2024

    The elections for student ombudspeople will take place from March 4, 2024 at 9 a.m. to March 5, 2024 at 3 p.m. through an online application. The Student Ombudsperson is the protector of the rights of university students at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University. The list of candidates is in this news.

    What are the key challenges faced by global governance? How does great power rivalry impact it? How can international cooperation be revitalized?  Join our expert roundtable discussion to explore these critically important questions. The event takes place on 5 March 2024, 5:30-7:00 pm in room B316 of Jinonice Campus and online.

  • Transition of printing services at FSV UK from Uniflow to MyQ

    This week, the printing services will be transitioning to a new solution MyQ, which will replace the existing Uniflow system in all FSV UK library branches. The Uniflow system will be terminated on February 28th, 2024, at noon. MyQ will be launched on March 1st, 2024. The credit from Uniflow can be transfered to MyQ until June 30th, 2024.

  • STEP: Competition in student English presentations

    The FSV UK Language Centre organizes a competition in student English presentations, STEP. It is an academic event for students of all institutes who want to compete in English presentation skills and promote their field of study. The presentations will take place on 17 April 2024 from 5 to 8:30 pm in Jinonice Campus, Hall C 117. Deadline for applications is Monday, 18 March, 12 a.m.
