The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • International competition for young scientists and innovators: Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic 2023

    On September 12, 2023, the 8th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The aim of the competition is to bring together the future generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breathtaking idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that break down all walls and barriers.

  • Call for applications for post-doc researchers from abroad is now open

    Call for applications for post-doc researchers from abroad for period 1. 1. 2024 - 31. 12. 2025 is now open. The chosen post-doc researchers can receive funding for two-year fellowship at Charles University. The application deadline is 21 July 2023.

  • Evaluate teaching in Summer semester 2022/2023

    Please fill in the teaching evaluation for the Summer semester 2022/2023 and help us improve the quality of teaching. The evaluation questionnaire is available from 9 May to 20 June 2023. Thank you for your participation!

  • An agreement signed with the National Taiwan University's College of Social Sciences

    As part of strengthening academic cooperation with Taiwanese institutions, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University signed an agreement on student and academic mobility and research cooperation with the College of Social Sciences of the prestigious National Taiwan University.

  • Pride Month at FSV UK

    By raising the LGBTQ+ flag at the Hollar building, the Faculty of Social Sciences joins the global Pride Month celebrations, which are a reminder of the Stonewall riots that marked the beginning of the modern movement for the rights of LGBTQ+ people.

  • Call for applications for the POINT programme postponed again

    For the spring 2023 round of the POINT program, applications for support can only be submitted from June 15 to June 30, 2023. Due to the repeated postponement of the deadline for the implementation of the spring round of the program, applicants will be able to apply for a financial contribution for mobilities held from 1 May 2023.
