The Dean’s office is the executive apparatus of the Faculty in economic and administrative matters.

The majority of the central administration offices is to be found in the Hollar building, Smetanovo nábřeží 6, 110 01 Praha 1. The Project Support and Investment Office is located at Voršilská 1, 110 00 Praha 1.

  • Invitation for the WISE project Multiplier Event

    The Multiplier Event is a crucial component of the WISE - Well-being Innovations for Students in Europe project, which strives to enhance the mental health and overall well-being of students across European universities. It takes place on June 5-6, 2023, at the Patriotic Hall of the Rectorate of Charles University and it is open to students, UK staff, and anyone interested in the topic.

  • Unauthorized access to the database konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz

    On Friday, May 12, the konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz database was deleted. This was most likely due to an attack using the access rights. The database was restored from backup on Monday, May 15, and is now fully operational. At the same time, several security measures have been adopted and more are planned.

  • Study, research and language stays in Italy

    The Italian government is offering scholarships of €900 per month for study, research and language stays in Italy for the academic year 2023/2024. Students of Master's and PhD study programs can apply for the stays. Application deadline is June 9, 2023 by 2 p.m.

  • Invitation to a discussion on digital campus

    Charles University invites you to a lecture and a discussion with Klára Jelínková, Vice-President and CIO at Harvard University, on the topic of digital campus and its development at higher education institutions. The lecture takes place on Monday, May 29th, 2023 at 10.00 a.m. in the Hall of Patriots, Carolinum, Ovocný trh 3, Prague 1.

  • Mexico scholarship offer for BA, MA and PhD students

    The Academic Information Agency (AIA) offers scholarships to Mexico for Bachelor, Master and PhD students, for stays of 5 to 10 month, starting in Autumn 2023. The deadline is 23 June 2023.

  • Guest lecture: Europe, Interdependence & Vulnerability

    On May 29th, the Peace Research Centre Prague and the Institute of Political Studies will welcome a leading U.S. scholar Professor Abraham Newman from Georgetown University to discuss the changes and challenges of the increasing use of economics as a tool in geopolitical contests among major powers. The event will take place at Jinonice Campus (U Kříže 611/8) in room B103B.
