The information meeting is organized for potential scholarship applicants and will be held in English.   • Academics from IES FSV UK received the Bedřich Hrozný Prize

    The Bedřich Hrozný Prize for Creative Initiative is awarded by the rector of the Charles University for a significant and original creative initiative. Doc. PhDr. Michal Bauer, Ph.D. and doc. PhDr. Julie Chytilová, Ph.D. from the Institute of Economic studies received this prize for a publication in the Nature journal.

  • 4EU+ Alliance launches two funding calls

    4EU+ launches two funding calls to expand interuniversity cooperation - the SEED4EU+ and 4EU+ Visiting Professorships initiatives. The deadline to submit proposals for both pilot calls is 1 June 2023.

  • Sleep quality is significantly associated with quality of life indicators over time

    Unlike sleep duration and “social jetlag”, self-reported sleep quality is significantly linked to quality of life for individuals over time and also when comparing between people, says the new study published March 15, 2023 in the open-access journal PLOS ONE by Michaela Kudrnáčová from Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, and Aleš Kudrnáč from the Institute of Sociology, Czech Academy of Sciences. 

  • International Visegrad Fund Research Grant Programme

    There is a research grant opportunity at the Historical Archives of the European Union that may be of interest to Master’s students, doctoral researchers and early career academics. Candidates from the Visegrad countries Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia, as well as from the Western Balkans, and Eastern Partnership countries, are eligible to apply.
