PhD student Johana Kłusek succeeded in her application for a Sylff Research Grant

Out of a large number of Sylff Research Grant (SRG) applications, three proposals from Charles University students were supported, one of those is a doctoral student from IMS FSV UK:

  • Johana Kłusek (FSV UK): Traveling of Forsytes across the Iron Curtain: Domesticity as a Common Value of Cold War Societies

A grant of up to $5,000 was open to eligible fellows (i.e., those currently enrolled in a doctoral program or early in their career within three years of receiving their doctorate) from all 69 Sylff Association institutions. A total of 53 laureates from all over the world received the prize for the year 2022/2023.

The Sylff Research Grant (SRG), which was aimed at compensating for the loss of funding opportunities during the pandemic and overcoming problems related to, for example, restrictions on international travel and large gatherings, is one of the Sylff scholarship support programs, which is awarded annually at Charles University to postgraduate students in the humanities and social sciences.

Congratulations!
