New workplace of the faculty in Nové Butovice - Pekařská 16 and 10

In April, we informed you about the takeover of the Pekařská 16 and 10 buildings, which will serve as new premises for our institutes during the reconstruction and completion of the Jinonice Complex. We are now officially introducing the original location of the faculty in Nové Butovice. We have prepared a series of news and information for you, which will help you get used to the new environment.

The most significant change is the transfer of classes that will take place at Pekařská 16. The offices of the Institute of Political Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University and the Institute of Sociological Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University are relocated to the Pekařská 16 as well. And the offices of the Institute of International Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, are located further away down Pekařská Street (number 10).

In addition to lecture rooms, offices and common areas, the building also has a fully-equipped student room.

The FSV UK Language Centre is also partially being moved to the Pekařská 16 building (office no. 207 and 208).

And how to get to the new premises of FSV UK?

Almost the same as to Jinonice - by metro B. Get off the metro at the Nové Butovice stop and turn left. Continue along Schwarzenberg Street until you turn to Pekařská. Building No. 16 is just to the left on the left. You can also use the bus (Bucharova bus stop).
