  • 2021 Rector’s Extraordinary Prize awarded to FSV UK student Ronan Wordsworth

    On Tuesday, April 12, 2022, the Carolinum became the venue for a ceremony of exceptionally gifted and creative students and graduates, who were awarded the Bolzano Prize and prizes awarded by the Rector. The Rector’s Extraordinary Prize for 2021 was awarded to FSV UK student Ronan Peter Wordsworth.

  • Become a volunteer and help Ukrainian students

    Do you want to help Ukrainian students? Assist them during the enrolment to Free mover programme at FSV UK. The help consists of the assistence during the enrolment, student ID card pick-up, SIS orientation etc. Volunteers also help to provide Ukrainian students with all the information about the Free mover programme.

  • Tomáš Havránek received the professorial decree

    At the end of last year, the President of the Czech Republic Miloš Zeman appointed eighty new university professors. Yesterday, on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, the new professors received the decrees. The Faculty of Social Sciences has one new professor: Tomáš Havránek from the Institute of Economic Studies received the professorial decree in the field of Economic Theory.

    The Language Centre cordially invites students interested in French cinematography to French Film Evenings. Films will be shown in French with Czech subtitles. The projection begins at 6:45 p.m. at Pekařská 16, room 112.
