prg.ai, collaboration memorandum, Charles University, CTU, Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague

Charles University, Czech Technical University and Czech Academy of Sciences have joined forces with the capital city of Prague in the prg.ai initiative, which promotes cutting-edge science and research in the field of artificial intelligence (AI). On Thursday 16th May, the representatives signed a cooperation memorandum. The field of social sciences in the project is represented by the Faculty of Social Sciences.

“Connecting different science fields undoubtedly belongs to one of the most important roles of universities. I am very pleased that Charles University will contribute to this interconnection through its active participation in the Prg.ai project. There will be a number of concrete impacts of Prg.ai, we are already dealing with ethical standards in the development of AI technology," the rector of Charles University prof. Tomáš Zima said.
