Teaching in the Winter Semester 2021/2022
All study obligations must be deliverable in their full value without the need for physical presence. Read the guidelines issued by the faculty. The directors of the Institutes may issue specifications.

Update of COVID-19 measures
Charles University has issued measures regarding testing, wearing respirators, arriving from abroad and attending exams, educational events and academic ceremonies. The measures also concern the operation of the dormitories. The University and the Faculty will keep the students informed of any updates.

Server shutdown on August 7 and 8
Due to the necessity of crucial IT infrastructure maintenance and server update, there will be a shutdown of faculty servers during the weekend, August 7-8.

The Faculty of Social Sciences decided to set up a new position of Student Ombudsmen which, as a new supporting body, will advocate for a more friendly environment at the Faculty.

New insurance policy for foreigners!
From August 2, 2021, the amendment to the Act on the Residence of Foreign Nationals is effective, bringing a new insurance policy: obligation to take out travel medical insurance covering comprehensive health care with Pojišťovna VZP. Read more about the conditions of this new obligation.
