Two FSV UK students received prestigious awards from the Rector of Charles University
Interesting scientific topics, excellent study or sporting results, as well as community activities and helping others, were all recognised by the Rector of Charles University Milena Králíčková, who presented prestigious awards to students from Charles University for their extraordinary activities. On March 31, 2025, students of Charles University received the awards from the Rector Professor and other members of the CU management in the Karolinum Patriotic Hall.
One of the awardees was Tadeáš Řáha, a student of the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at FSV UK, who received the Rector's Extraordinary Award 2024. He was awarded for his project of a national awareness campaign for early treatment of spinal defects in the Czech and Slovak Republics.
The student of the Master's degree programme in Strategic Communication at the Department of Marketing Communication and PR aimed at raising awareness of Idiopathic Scoliosis and Scheuermann's Kyphosis. Four other students from different faculties of CU received the Rector's Extraordinary Award 2024 for their achievements as well.
Another award recipient was Dana Alsaialy, a graduate of the Institute of Sociological Studies at FSV UK, who received the Karel Engliš Award for the best graduates of social sciences and humanities programs.
