Former Prime Minister of Italy Enrico Letta debated at FSV UK

Enrico Letta, the former Prime Minister of Italy and the current president of the think tank Jacques Delors Institute, visited Prague last week. The official visit also included an academic debate on the future of the EU internal market at FSV UK.

Enrico Letta was commissioned by the Belgian Presidency of the EU to draw up a report on the future of the EU's internal market. In connection with this assignment, he approached all EU member countries with an offer of consultations. During the visit to Czechia, a stakeholder conference, a meeting with representatives of the state administration and bilateral negotiations with members of the government took place.

At FSV UK, we organized an academic debate in which representatives of our faculty presented their views on the future of the internal market, including in the current geopolitical and geoeconomic context - the Dean of FSV UK Tomáš Karásek, Martin Mejstřík from IMS FSV UK and Petr Janský from IES FSV UK took part in the discussion.
