FSV UK new professors Ota Konrád and Tomáš Weiss received professor's decrees
On June 21, the President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel handed over the appointment decrees to new professors. The Faculty of Social Sciences has two new professors: Ota Konrád and Tomáš Weiss. Congratulations! -
International staff week at FSV UK developed the topic of well-being at universities
Last week, from 12 to 16 June 2023, the Faculty of Social Sciences hosted the international Erasmus staff week, during which representatives of our foreign partners participated in various lectures and workshops. The key topic was the development of services supporting the mental health and well-being of students and employees at universities. -

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University announces the 28th public competition for Josef Vavroušek Award, subtitled Human Values and Civilization Development Problems. The deadline for application is Friday 28 July 2023 by noon. -

International competition for young scientists and innovators: Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic 2023
On September 12, 2023, the 8th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The aim of the competition is to bring together the future generation of great scientists and innovators and come up with a breathtaking idea - a scientific project, business plan or social initiative that break down all walls and barriers.
