Erasmus+ Incoming Mobility for Academics
Erasmus+ Incoming Mobility for Academics
ERASMUS + is an EU exchange programme which has been running since the mid-1980s. The Czech Republic has been participating since 1997. The mobilities are performed on the basis of bilateral agreements signed with partner universities.
-
Staff Mobility for TEACHING (STA)
The recommended length of the teaching mobility is 5 working days. In justified cases, it is possible to carry out a shorter stay of at least 2 consecutive working days, excluding travel.
The maximum length of stay is 2 months. However, it is necessary to teach at least 8 teaching hours (for 2 - 5 working days). The minimum number of teaching hours for mobilities exceeding 5 working days is calculated as follows: number of working days x 1.6.
-
Staff Mobility for TRAINING (STT)
The program supports the professional development of employees in the form of a professional course, shadowing the employees at the relevant workplaces or listening to lectures at partner higher education institutions.
The minimum length of staff training is 2 consecutive working days while the maximum length of staff training cannot exceed 2 months.
You can find more information about the Staff Mobility for Training here. We also recommend having a look at the annual International Staff Week on wellbeing organised by the International Office, or at the International Staff Weeks organised by the Faculty Language Centre.
