Organisational and Administrative Officer for the Centre for Doctoral Studies workload of 0,5

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University is looking to hire two members of Centre of Ph.D. studies at the Institute of Political Studies Charles University.

 

Job description:

  • coordination of professional specialized administrative work
  • carrying out analyses, investigations, and the provision of consultations and expert opinions
  • fulfilment of tasks in the Centre of Doctoral Studies of the IPS according to the assignment of the head of the CDS of the IPS

 

Requirements for candidates:

  • student of the internal form of the doctoral study programme at the Institute of Political Science FSV UK in the second, third, or fourth year of his/her studies (for the academic year 2024/2025)
  • the annual evaluation of the Individual Study Plan for the academic year 2023/2024 was evaluated with grade A (alternatively, if the assessment still has not been finalised, all the study requirements were fulfilled and there is no obstacle for providing grade A)  

 

We offer:

  • workload of 0.5 (20 hours per week) for one academic year (1st October 2024 – 30th September 2025)
  • expected start on October, 1st, 2024 
  • one-year employment contract
  • monthly salary CZK 20.000 + CZK 5.000 scholarship to support excellent dissertation research
