CENTRE FOR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC STRATEGIES (CESES)
The Centre, which was founded in 2000, is an interdisciplinary research and education unit engaged in the development of theory, methodology and practice of exploring possible future developments, and the application of analyses and forecasts in decision making.
DEPARTMENT OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES
The Department of Foreign Languages secures courses of English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Italian for all the institutes within the faculty. Courses are designed to provide students with crucial vocabulary specific to the study fields offered at the faculty and aim to prepare students better for their future careers. In addition, the department provides courses of Czech as a Foreign Language and paid English-based courses of Chinese.
LIBRARY (SCIENTIFIC INFORMATION CENTRE)
FSV UK has three libraries which are found in the three buildings:
- The Central Library is found in the Hollar building together with a section on Journalism
- The Library Opletalova in the Opletalova building houses Economics collection
- The Masaryk Library of Social Sciences in the Jinonice building houses the Political Science, Sociology and Area Studies collections
CENTRE FOR INFORMATION AND COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY (CICT)
