The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University announces a vacancy for an Academic Assistant for the Department of Marketing Communication and Public Relations at the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism.

Job Description:

• pedagogical activity in study programs Marketing communication and PR and Strategic communication
• significant administrative activities at the Department and cooperation on joint projects
• creative application of scientific research results in the pedagogical activity of the Department
• own scientific research activity and grant applications submission with the extension aboard
• serving on committees, supervision of students and assessment of student theses

We require:

• university degree with Ph.D. 
• high-quality independent research and grant activity with the possibility to declare published results
• excellent command of the English language in both spoken and written form
• Czech language at native speaker level

We offer:

• workload of 1,0 (40 hours per week)
• expected start on October, 1st, 2024
