Opening hours of FSV UK libraries on 25 and 28 October 2024
Opening hours of the library will be affected by the upcoming Dean's day off and public holiday. We prepared an overview for you. Books can be returned regardless of opening hours via the book return box in front of the Jinonice building (24/7) and in front of the Opletalova library (in the building's opening hours). -

We have prepared a Read with FSV UK employee challenge for you. Expand your reading horizons and inspire your colleagues with your favourite books. FSV UK's first book challenge is here and it runs from 1 November 2024 to 31 January 2025. -
News in the operation of Opletalova library
Opletalova library is now accessible to FSV UK students even when the librarian is not there. Just come between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. and scan your student card to open it. In the library and associated study room, you will find study spaces, a calm and inspiring environment, as well as a self-service copier in MyQ mode. -

Searching for the essence of human in the city streets: an exhibition of street photography
We cordially invite you to the exhibition of street photography, which you can see in foyer C of Areál Jinonice from 29 October 2024. The author of the exhibition is Stanislav Kohout, a graduate of the FSV UK Institute of Political Studies. -
A new Fulbright Scholar Dr Ingrid Anderson
We are pleased to welcome Dr Ingrid Anderson, Fulbright Scholar from Boston University, who will be a guest lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy of Charles University and at the Herzl Centre of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University. She is researching early Prague Zionism and its involvement in Czech nationalism of the same period.
