A student may be registered when all of the following conditions have been fulfilled:

2) Receipt of confirmation of the student´s disability

a) documentation of disability pursuant to Section 67 of Act no. 435/2004 Coll., the Employment Act, or

b) documentation of invalidity of any degree pursuant to Section 39 of Act no. 155/1995 Coll., the Pensions Act or

c) ID card for disability of any degree pursuant to Section 34 of Act no. 329/2011 Coll., on the provision of benefits to persons with a disability, or

3) Functional diagnosis

Functional diagnosis takes the form of an interview carried out by specialist centers authorized for this task. Its purpose is to identify the needs of the student and subsequently propose suitable mechanisms and modifications to the conditions of study in order to meet or compensate for these needs. A written record is made of the functional diagnosis, which then forms part of the student´s records as kept by the department. The student also receives a copy.
