Professor Michal Mejstřík awarded the First Grade Medal of Merit in memoriam

On the occasion of the national holiday on October 28, 2021, the names of personalities who are to be awarded or bestowed state decorations were published.

Among the awarded in memoriam is also a prominent Czech economist, founder and long-time director of the Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, Professor Michal Mejstřík. He received the First Grade Medal of Merit for the contribution to the Czech Republic in the field of science and education. Other personalities of Charles University also received state awards.

The award ceremony will take place on January 1, 2022.
