Opening restrictions of the FSV UK libraries

The library in Hollar building will close its doors on May 17, 2024. Its facilities will undergo renovation and modernization to serve students and faculty more effectively in the future.

After this date, borrowings can be returned only in the Jinonice and Opletalova libraries. 

Due to the moving of the Hollar library, the fourth floor of the Jinonice library will be closed on May 20 and 21, including the individual study rooms, which will be inaccessible on those days.

The collection from the Hollar library will be available in the Jinonice library from May 22. Journalism and other related subjects can be found on the fourth floor.

The Jinonice library, which is expanding its services, will offer a pleasant space for self-study. During the exam period, i.e. from 18 May to 30 June 2024, the night study rooms in the Jinonice library will be open on weekends too, from 9 am to midnight. During week days, the night study rooms will be open as usual, i.e. from Monday to Thursday from 7:00 pm to midnight and on Friday from 5:00 pm to midnight.
