Lessons & Legacies conference

On 6-9 November 2023, the international conference Lessons & Legacies took place, which was devoted to the topic of research on the persecution and genocide of Jews and Roma during the Second World War. A number of leading experts from all over the world gathered in Prague and discussed in particular the relevance of research into the Holocaust, anti-Semitism and racism in the contemporary world from the point of view of science and public space. The conference was co-organized by the Masaryk Institute and Archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University.

The conference was introduced, among others, by the UK rector, Milena Králíčková, and the main guest was introduced by the FSV UK Dean, Tomáš Karásek.
