GAČR grants for academics from IES FSV UK

The Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) has decided to grant its financial support to two academics from Institute of Economic Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. 

• Associate Professor Tomáš Havránek: Meta-Analyses of Returns on Financial Investment Management Strategies
• Associate Professor Petr Janský: Effects of corporate transparency reforms

The evaluation of the standard project proposals in The Czech Science Foundation (GAČR) has three rounds and involves a total of over 400 experts. More than half of the best project proposals were subsequently assessed by foreign evaluators - more than 99% of the projects have at least two foreign reports available.
