An agreement signed with the National Taiwan University's College of Social Sciences

As part of strengthening academic cooperation with Taiwanese institutions, the Faculty of Social Sciences of the Charles University signed an agreement on student and academic mobility and research cooperation with the College of Social Sciences of the prestigious National Taiwan University.

The cooperation should result in the establishment of a rotating "Joint Chair in Social Sciences" position already in the winter semester. Within this framework, lecturers from both institutions would be regular guests at the partner faculties. The aim is to offer a European perspective in the social sciences to academics and students at NTU, to spread awareness of the social science aspects of the Asia-Pacific region at FSV UK, and to support the formation of personal ties that would further develop mutual cooperation.
