  • Valentyn Shkriba, a FSV UK student, received the Rector’s Extraordinary Prize

    Valentyn Shkriba, a student of the Security Studies Master's program, received the Charles University Rector's Extraordinary Prize for 2022. He was awarded for his help in the agenda of accepting Ukrainian students to study at FSV UK.

  • Brunch with the Dean

    We cordially invite you to an informal brunch of the academic and research staff and lecturers with the FSV UK Dean. The brunch takes place in Jinonice Campus in room C.131 on Thursday, 4 May 2023 from 9:00 to 11:30 a.m.

  • Meeting with the Rector

    On 11 May 2023 from 9 to 10 am, a breakfast of the Charles University Rector with FSV UK students and employees will be held at Hollar, room 212. What are the current challenges faced by Charles University? What creative ideas could benefit CU? What is holding us back? Where do we want to be in five years’ time? All this you can discuss with Prof. Milena Králíčková, the Rector of Charles University, in a relaxed atmosphere.

  • Golden Courses for Winter Semester 2022/2023

    Golden Courses for the best courses of the Winter Semester 2022/2023 according to the student evaluation were awarded yesterday. Congratulations to all recipients!  On Tuesday, 11 April 2023, during the Academic Senate FSV UK meeting, the Golden Courses were awarded to the lecturers.

  • Language Centre invites you to American Zeitgeist movie Tuesdays

    The FSV UK Language Centre invites faculty students and interested employees to several movie Tuesdays with our American lecturer Daniel Baxter Jackson. The sessions will take place at Hollar, Room 110 on 14 March, 28 March, 11 April and 25 April, from 5 to 7 pm.
