Important note for visa-seeking students: Please read about the visa process carefully before applying. You are responsible for organizing your legal stay in Czechia and the visa application process can get quite lengthy. The extended deadlines are therefore strongly recommended to students who already possess the legal right to long-term stay in Czechia.

Matěj Prášil won the prestigious Brussels Institute for Geopolitics 2023 Essay Prize
Charles University and the Brussels Institute for Geopolitics (BIG) are happy to announce the winner of the prestigious 2023 Essay Prize. Following a competitive selection process, the award goes to Matěj Prášil from the Faculty of Social Sciences. -

Clarivate has published its annual Highly Cited Researchers list. Our Professor Ladislav Krištoufek made it to the prestigious ranking as one of only seven scientists from the entire Czech Republic and one of 86 researchers in the field of economics worldwide. Congratulations! -
Coimbra Group looking for an intern in Brussels
The association of European universities Coimbra Group is looking for an intern for its office in Brussels. The internship is from January 2024 to the end of June 2024. The job will include administrative support for the team and coordination of activities related to international cooperation. Internship is for students and recent graduates of master programs. -
