Important note for visa-seeking students: Please read about the visa process carefully before applying. You are responsible for organizing your legal stay in Czechia and the visa application process can get quite lengthy. The extended deadlines are therefore strongly recommended to students who already possess the legal right to long-term stay in Czechia.

International COVID-19 Student Well-being Study
Charles University and the Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic have joined the international research initiative Antwerp University International COVID-19 Student Well-being Study, which in cooperation with a total of 26 countries focuses on you, the college students and how the pandemic affected you in the area of your studies, but also mental well-being and related topics. -
Evaluation of online teaching - results
Thank you to everyone who participated in the evaluation of online teaching at FSV UK! A total of 545 people replied to the questionnaire sent via SIS, of which: IES: 111, IKSŽ: 142, IMS: 109, IPS: 109, and ISS: 74. -
Coursera's educational platform provides access to selected online courses
Coursera's educational platform provides access to selected online courses from universities around the world from a wide range of disciplines, from humanities to health. Our university has obtained the possibility of access to 5,000 licenses, which is possible to distribute among its users. -
Current information from the Charles University's management as a response to adoption of additional crisis measures dated April 24, 2020
In connection with yesterday's meeting of the Government of the Czech Republic and the issuing of newly framed resolutions on the adoption of crisis measures in education, as well as in connection with other legislative changes, we would like to inform you of the following changes. -
Electronic submission of bachelor's and master's theses
According to the Dean's Measure no. 5/2020, it is now possible to submit the bachelor's and master's theses electronically to the Student Information System, printed versions will not be required. The rule affects the summer and autumn dates of the final state exams and defenses. -
