  • International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia

    Today is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia & Biphobia, which the Faculty of Social Sciences joined by raising the Pride flag in the entrance to the Hollar building. Diversity enriches our academic community and we strive to create a welcoming environment and to ensure equity for everyone.

  • The FSV UK floorball team will be in the quarterfinals of the University League

    After three years, the FSV UK floorball team will participate in the quarterfinal playoff of the University League (in 2020 and 2021, the popular inter-faculty competition was cancelled due to the covid-19 pandemic). Thursday's match begins at 4:50 p.m. at ÚTVS ČVUT Pod Juliskou (address Pod Juliskou 4). All fans of floorball and FSV UK are cordially invited!

  • ESU: Expert Group for Ukraine

    The Expert Group for Ukraine (ESU) has  been newly established at the Faculty of Social Sciences. It is an interdisciplinary policy group consisting of experts and academics from the FSV UK. They will regularly offer expert and research-based contributions to ongoing debates in the society in the form of expert articles (so-called policy briefs).

  • Supplementary admissions procedure for the PhD in Modern History

    Faculty of Social Sciences announces a supplementary admissions procedure for the doctoral study programme Modern History (full-time and combined form) for the academic year 2022/23. The deadline is 4 September.

  • Garden party in Grébovka

    The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, organizes a garden party on the ocassion of the postponed celebrations of the 30th anniversary of its founding. The ceremony will take place in the Grébovka Pavilion on June 1, 2022, i.e. on the 32nd anniversary of the FSV UK founding.
