Call for SYLFF scholarship program is open
The Tokyo Foundation for Policy Research (TKFD) SYLFF scholarship program call for 2026 has been announced. The offer is intended for students of doctoral programs in the social sciences or humanities and provides financial support for a period of up to two years for the preparation of a dissertation and other research activities. The application deadline is 30 April 2026. -
Change of the Jinonice Campus FSV UK Library opening hours
From the summer semester, i.e. starting February 16, 2026, the Jinonice Library is newly open from 8:00 am. It is now possible to make Study Rooms reservations starting from 8:00 am. Book reservations and orders will still be available for pickup from 9:00 am at the earliest. -

Restrictions on the operation of the cloakroom in the Jinonice Campus
Due to the illness of one of the cloakroom staff, the operation of the cloakroom in Jinonice will be limited from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm until further notice. Thank you for your understanding. -
New system for booking consultations and office hours
On 16 February 2026, the previous applications for booking consultations and office hours at FSV UK were discontinued. The websites konzultace.fsv.cuni.cz and consultations.fsv.cuni.cz now combine an overview of consultations and office hours of individual employees in the Google calendar system. Consultations and office hours can be booked via the websites listed above, or via the link in the profile cards of individual employees. -
Call open for 4EU+ Cotutelle at Sorbonne University
A new call for applications for the 4EU+ Cotutelle program in collaboration with Sorbonne University has been announced, allowing doctoral students to have their dissertations under the joint supervision of two universities and thus obtain a double doctorate in cooperation with the partner universities of the 4EU+ Alliance. The deadline for submitting applications at Sorbonne University is February 20, 2026.
