Science Communication 360° conference: The second edition offers new formats, international reach, and prominent keynote speakers
The Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, the Czech Academy of Sciences, and the SciComHub platform are bringing the second edition of the Science Communication 360° conference, which will take place on February 5, 2026 at the Jinonice Campus. After a successful pilot edition, participants can look forward to several new features. We invite science communicators, PR specialists, and researchers interested in presenting their work to the public. -
Annual ball of FSV UK 2026
We cordially invite you to the traditional Annual Ball of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University, which will take place on March 5, 2026 in the historic premises of the National House in Vinohrady. This year too, you can look forward to live music, dancing, an accompanying cultural program and a Prize Game. Tickets are already on sale via GoOut. -
GA CR will support four FSV UK projects starting next year
The Czech Science Foundation (GACR), as the most important provider of funding for basic research projects in the Czech Republic, will begin funding over 400 scientific projects from all areas of basic research starting next year. At FSV UK, four standard projects will be supported. -
FSV UK charity Christmas event
FSV UK has once again prepared a faculty charity Christmas event for its employees. This year, we will focus on helping the children from the Dolní Počernice Children’s Home. If you have the opportunity and desire to participate in this charity event, you can do so until Wednesday 10 December 2025. -
