Tadeáš Řáha, a FSV UK student, received the Rector's Extraordinary Award 2024
On March 31, 2025, students of Charles University received the Rector's Prize, the Rector's Extraordinary Award and the Bolzano Prize. One of the awardees was Tadeáš Řáha, a student from the Institute of Communication Studies and Journalism at FSV UK, who received the Rector's Extraordinary Award 2024. He was awarded for his project of a national awareness campaign for early treatment of spinal defects in the Czech and Slovak Republics. -
Deadline for applications for Erasmus+ placements

POINT programme (Support for Internationalization of Charles University) is one of the supporting tools of financing activities aimed to increase the level of internationalisation at Charles University. FSV UK is leaving the social network X and transitioning to the Bluesky platform
Based on the decision of the faculty's leadership, FSV UK is joining the step taken by Charles University, which will leave the social network X as of March 31, 2025, and transition to the Bluesky platform. In both Czech and English versions, the faculty profiles on the Bluesky platform are already active. The faculty account on X will cease to be actively managed in the upcoming months. -
Open science courses
We invite doctoral students and early-career researchers to attend courses in the field of Open Science organized by the Postdoctoral Platform of Charles University. On April 2, 2025, there will be a course on Research Data Management, and on May 14, 2025, a course focusing on Citizen Science will take place. Registration for the courses is required via the CU Educational Portal.
