Writing Point will help with academic writing in English
The FSV UK Language Centre offers FSV UK academic staff and doctoral students personal or online consultations regarding their writing in English. We’ll talk to you about the ideas you wish to convey and to whom, clarify the purpose of the text you are writing, suggest writing strategies for achieving this purpose, and guide you in your revisions. These consultations are not a proofreading or copy-editing service. -
Mental Health Day on 10 October in Jinonice
Save the date 10 October for Mental Health Day in the Jinonice Campus! From 9 am, you can look forward to the breakfast by Jinonice student societies and from 10 am to ca noon, you can meet dogs from canisteraphy society Šimíček. During the event, student ombudspeople and the contact person for students with special needs will be available. You will find us in foyer C. -

The Supply Chain Resilience Center (SCRC) project has officially begun
On September 24, 2024, a meeting of representatives of the parties involved in the newly established Supply Chain Resilience Center (SCRC) project took place at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Charles University. The SCRC project, a collaboration between Charles University and National Chengchi University (NCCU) in Taiwan, aims to explore the resilience of supply chains, particularly in the semiconductor sector. -

Operational restrictions of the Hollar building in the winter semester 2024/2025
We would like to provide you with information regarding the operation of the Hollar building, which is undergoing modernization of selected areas from June 2024. As of Monday, September 30, 2024, the rear tract of the building and the back staircase will be accessible again. Partial construction work will continue to take place in several rooms. For this reason, several operating restrictions will remain in the building:
