FSV UK in cooperation with ReMeD organise Regulation and Accountability in a Hybrid Media System: Content Creators, Algorithmic Plurality and Online Platforms conference, which will take place in Jinonice Campus from 10 to 11 February 2025. The deadline for abstracts is 30 September 2024.

The call of the virtual mobility courses for the winter semester 2024/25 and the call for POVIM fund have been announced. Support from the POVIM fund can be applied for by academic staff who have decided to open their online courses to students from 4EU+ and other partner universities. The deadline is July 15, 2024.

On September 12, 2024, the 9th year of the Falling Walls Lab Czech Republic international competition will take place in the premises of the National Technical Library. The application deadline is set for 30 June 2024. The winner of the national round will represent the Czech Republic at the global final in Berlin.

Until 2 September 2024, the buildings, faculty post room and libraries will be open according to summer opening hours. Check the overview here.

From June 17 to 21, 2024, selected rooms in the Hollar building will be cleared out and furniture will be moved. Normal operation will not be restricted by this. On June 24, 2024, construction work will begin in the rear section of the building and will continue until the beginning of the winter semester. From this date, the Hollar building will experience several operational restrictions.

On Thursday, June 13, 2024, prof. PhDr. Michal Bauer, Ph.D., prof. Petr Janský, M.Sc., Ph.D., and prof. Ing. Michal Plaček, Ph.D. from the Faculty of Social Sciences were appointed professors. They received the decrees from the hands of the President Petr Pavel and Mikuláš Bek, the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports.
